Bond advises a German bank on an international office building transaction
Bond advised a German bank on the financing of the acquisition of a large office estatein Warshaw, Poland.
The 43,000 m2 office estate, which is situated in the Służewiec business centre, is leased long-term to several internationally operating businesses, including an international telecom company and an international business bank.
The acquisition with a purchase price of approximately EUR 100 million, was structured as a share purchase transaction. The buyer is an international real estate investor, which is particularly active in Middle and Eastern Europe. The Dutch parent company of this international real estate investor obtained the shares in a Polish entity as the direct owner of the office building.
The financing of this acquisition is provided by a German pfandbriefbank, active in real estate financing in continental Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.
On this transaction, Bond has joined forces with the Polish team of an originally American law firm.
