BOND Advises EBS on Financing of Zero Emission Buses

EBS is in the process of replacing a significant part of its Haaglanden Streek bus fleet with electrically powered zero emission bus vehicles. In addition, EBS is constructing a new charging and stationing depot for the new buses at Poeldijk. To finance the investments in the new buses and the new depot, EBS has entered into a credit facility agreement with Metropoolregio Rotterdam Den Haag (MRDH). On behalf of EBS BOND has negotiated the terms of the credit facility agreement and related contracts with MRDH and has advised EBS on all legal aspects of the new financing. Other advisors involved were Schut (civil law notary coordinating the creation of the rights of superficies relating to the charging infrastructure) and Van Doorne (counsel to MRDH).
