Bond’s three partners, Jan-Joost van Rijsbergen, Joannes de Bont and Robert Steeg, gained a wealth of experience at the banking & finance departments of reputable international law firms and during client secondments in the Netherland and abroad. Tailor made solutions
We believe in tailor-made advice that comprises not only the legal aspects of a finance transaction, but also the commercial and practical realities. Our advice is to the point, accessible to non-lawyers and also helpful where the law does not provide a clear answer. After all, the purpose of our advice is to help clients in making business decisions on the basis of a clear understanding of relevant legal pros and cons.

Pricing
We believe in transparency, including with respect to the fees for our services. That’s why we like to make clear arrangements on pricing at the outset of our involvement in a transaction. Those arrangements can include a fixed fee or a capped fee. We always agree upfront what activities are covered by such pricing arrangements and what assumptions apply to our engagement, such as duration and level of involvement. We believe it is important to regularly update our clients about costs in order to avoid surprises afterwards.
The firm
BOND was founded in 2018. Our offices are located in the heart of Amsterdam. BOND is a member of the Loan Market Association (LMA), the International Project Finance Association (IPFA) and PropertyNL. All our lawyers are affiliated with the Dutch Bar Association (Orde van Advocaten).
