Bond advises PGGM / PFZW and Invest-NL on the financing of GelijkGezond

The loans of PGGM / PFZW and Invest-NL will be provided as part of an impact funding financing package to GelijkGezond to enable result-based financing of preventive care.

GelijkGezond (which in English translates to Immediately Healthy) is a non-profit organisation, bringing together health insurance companies, municipalities and private investors and offering preventive care to high-health-risk individuals in order to achieve more healthy years of life and to reduce (long term) health issues and healthcare costs.

GelijkGezond started its programme on 1 April 2026 in the municipalities of Delft, Dordrecht, Zoetermeer and Tilburg, after a festive kick-off meeting attended by, among others, Her Majesty Queen Máxima and Sophie Hermans, the minister of Public Health, Wellbeing and Sports.

PFZW (Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn) is a large Dutch pension fund for approximately 3 million (former) employees in the healthcare and wellbeing sector. On this financing, PGGM acted for PFZW as pension investor.

Invest-NL is a state-owned innovation fund with total committed investments of EUR 1,392 million, investing both in debt and equity in, among other sectors, Life Sciences & Health.
