Bond Advocaten recently advised Deutsche Hypo and ING on the extension of term loans to the Amvest Residential Core Fund (the “ARC Fund“).

The early extension of these term loans of 300 million euro allowed the ARC Fund to continue benefitting from the attractive fixed interest rate and extended the remaining term of its debt.

The ARC Fund is one of three portfolios of Amvest Investment Management, which operates around 22,000 rental homes in both the free rental market and social rental sector.

Deutsche Hypo is one of Germany’s largest real estate financiers specialised in the financing of commercial real estate. It is a company of NORD/LB. In addition to its German locations, it also has offices in other European cities, including an office in Amsterdam.

ING is one of the largest banks of the Netherlands, providing a wide range of consumer and wholesale banking products. ING is also one of the top five largest real estate banks in Europe and a market leader in the Netherlands.

The extension of the term loan was part of the overarching strategy of ARC Fund to diversify its funding structure.
